I can’t believe just a few months ago I was worried about LO’s speech because now I go crazy hearing the same things over and over and over. I’ve already mentioned “rain… agua goes down the pipe.” Here’s a snippet of his other mantras:

“Day time lights turn on, night time lights turn off.”

“How many red light stops do you see?” followed by “How many green light go’s do you see?” when the lights switch.

“Lamp turns on, night light turns off. Lamp turns off, night light turns on.”

“Monkey blanket too big. Lovey small.” (he can’t take monkey blanket to the changing station; it’s just too big!)

“Mama’s house, daddy’s house, (his name’s) house.”

“Harold fix the smoke alarm.” (our smoke alarm would beep and we told him our manager fixed it)

“Read four books. Mama sing two songs. Mama turn off light.” (our bedtime routine)

“Mama sing ‘Pop Goes the Weasel’ song, please.”

I’m sure there’s more that I’ll add to this!
