Survey: How many posts per week do you want to see?
You may have noticed that I’ve been blogging on a regular schedule for some time now—Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. I’m not sure how I stumbled on this schedule, but I definitely wanted to publish posts on a regular, predictable schedule. Still, that doesn’t mean I’m completely set on this one, and am always open for change.

For instance, sometimes I wonder if I’m posting too much… or not enough. Does this current schedule fill your inbox with too many unread posts? Or are you excited for the next post only to be disappointed that nothing has been updated?

I realize a blogger’s personal life and schedule have to be taken into account (hence why some full-time bloggers can easily crank out multiple posts per day—um, so not happening here), but I still want to know what you think. And rather than guess, I’ll just ask you explicitly:

How many posts per week would you like to see on Sleeping Should Be Easy?

  • One: Mondays
  • Two:  Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Three: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Four: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
  • Five: Monday through Friday
  • Six: every day except Saturday
  • Seven: every day

I’m curious as to whether I’m flooding you with too many posts, if I’m not producing enough, or if this is just right. If I were to increase the amount, I may consider publishing different types of posts, such as lists and guest posts. Similarly, if I were to decrease the number of posts, I may play with the idea of increasing the length of each one.

These are all ideas floating around in my head in my continued effort to improve this blog. In the end, the decision is on me to tinker with the schedule as I see best, but your input definitely helps shape what I eventually decide.
