For instance, sometimes I wonder if I’m posting too much… or not enough. Does this current schedule fill your inbox with too many unread posts? Or are you excited for the next post only to be disappointed that nothing has been updated?
I realize a blogger’s personal life and schedule have to be taken into account (hence why some full-time bloggers can easily crank out multiple posts per day—um, so not happening here), but I still want to know what you think. And rather than guess, I’ll just ask you explicitly:
How many posts per week would you like to see on Sleeping Should Be Easy?
- One: Mondays
- Two: Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Three: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- Four: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
- Five: Monday through Friday
- Six: every day except Saturday
- Seven: every day
I’m curious as to whether I’m flooding you with too many posts, if I’m not producing enough, or if this is just right. If I were to increase the amount, I may consider publishing different types of posts, such as lists and guest posts. Similarly, if I were to decrease the number of posts, I may play with the idea of increasing the length of each one.
These are all ideas floating around in my head in my continued effort to improve this blog. In the end, the decision is on me to tinker with the schedule as I see best, but your input definitely helps shape what I eventually decide.

Wow, if I could find time to blog as often you do, I’d be smiling from ear to ear. So, I guess my answer to your question is: blog as much as you like, chica! Seriously, I don’t know about you, but, I feel so much better after having written something new and posted it. So, if blogging is as therapeutic for you as it is for me, then I say you can never do it too much. Every day, twice a day, whatever you want.
If people are too busy to read it, that’s on them. And if they ignore your posts and don’t comment, that’s on them too. Blog for yourself, from your heart, whenever and wherever you want to and as the “Field of Dreams” quote goes: “People will come…”

Everybody posts on Monday’s and there just isn’t enough time to read and/or respond.
I would prefer and suggest, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.
Just sayin’.

It’s up to you miss Nina! I think it’s unique to each blogger why they blog. What’s a good balance for you,…etc. My 2 cents is that I don’t always have time to read lengthy posts. So I may breeze through or pass over longer ones most days. Just depends.

Two a week works for me, as a reader, because I’m pretty time-strapped since my son quit taking naps. I like to read each of your posts and leave a comment if I can, and two a week would definitely allow me to do that. Thanks for asking!
I agree with Yeti9000, blog when you have the inspiration. If I don’t have the time to read them that day, I come back when I do have the time. I love your parenting advice and the more the better! x
I am always behind reading your posts and leaving comments, so twice a week would make keeping up easier for me. But in the end, you have to do what works best for you.

I believe it’s really up to you!
I would say two or three just so you can have some free time and come up with more post ideas for the remainder of the week. For me personally, I feel I get overwhelmed if I feel I need to have certain number of posts published during any given week. I usually tend to write with the flow and no number of posts in mind, but, that’s just me.

So I guess keep it to a minimum. =)
