HAVE YOU EVER SAID TO YOURSELF...

“My child’s outbursts and whining are far more difficult to deal with than ever before.”

“I’m at the end of my patience, and feeling so guilty that I haven’t been more calm and reassuring to my child.”

“My toddler doesn’t want to listen to me. It seems like he wants to do the opposite of what I say. Time outs don’t seem to work and is creating more anxiety and fear in him.”

You’re not alone.

It’s no secret that raising kids can be difficult, even with all the information we have available these days.

We’re more likely to feel overwhelmed with all the things we “should” be doing, or are simply too busy and hectic to even remember to apply the parenting advice we hear.

No matter how often you swear to yourself to try something different, you end up falling back to your old ways in the end.

No wonder nothing seems to change.

You see, it’s easy to read parenting advice, but it can be much harder to actually implement them. And, like any skill we acquire, parenting skills need to practiced, honed, and developed into daily habits that come more naturally to you.

Which is exactly why I wrote 31 Days to Better Parenting. I took the parenting principles I teach and broke them down into actionable, daily steps you can do over the course of 31 days.

That’s it: One tip, one suggestion a day, to help you become a better parent.

31 DAYS TO BETTER PARENTING

Now you can get daily parenting tips to help you become a better parent! Many of us know what we “should” be doing, but forget to implement them. Having daily tips is an effective way to remind yourself of the actionable steps you can take.

Let 31 Days to Better Parenting be the fresh start to your mornings before beginning the day. Give me 31 days… and I’ll make sure you see a noticeable change in your children and in yourself!

31 DAILY WORKSHEETS

You’ll also get daily worksheets that supplement the lessons to reflect on what you learned. Because you know as well as I do that sometimes we need a little hand-holding when it comes to applying tips we learn. With the worksheets, you’re not just learning what you need to do—you’re taking that extra step to make sure it happens!

“I need to thank you for all your great advice. I just had a baby who is three weeks old and her big brother who is three and a half was adjusting. His attitude was sometimes downright scary. He even hit me and it broke my heart.

I’ve been applying your tips and I feel more connected to him and at ease. His teacher also told me how he’s been such a different kid! He listens, uses manners, and is so much kinder.

Thank you for helping our family transition into a family of 4. My son is much more comfortable with the idea of sharing the attention I had solely for him.”

“Life was difficult with my 4 year old, like I was constantly in the battle field with her. It seemed we were fighting all the time. And it would occasionally escalate to me yelling and screaming from pure frustration, from getting dressed to going to bed.

Reading 31 Days to Better Parenting helped me to look outside the box. There are some books out there that I disagree with completely, but this book was a perfect balance of parent and child. It allows the parent to still be in charge of the situations, but in a less abrasive way. Sometimes you get stuck in a rut and you just need those ideas to help remind you who your children are. She’s only 4 and sometimes I think I have expectations like shes 10. This book helped re-center me on my view of my children and gave me great tools that help our home feel more fun, relaxed and less stressful.

It’s hard for me to remember everything in the book everyday, so occasionally I have to pull it out and remind myself of the helpful tools. I am so grateful I have this helpful tool to help keep my sanity. Life isn’t perfect everyday. Everyday meets new challenges, but I will say that my daughter now gets dressed completely on her own every morning. Bedtime I’m still working on, but I can see where the problems are now and I have the tools to help get it to where it needs to be. We are also having another baby very soon, so that has thrown a lot of our routines off lately. I am encouraged to know that once our new arrival comes, it will have its challenges for sure, but I now have the tools and knowledge to be able to help my family.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

“How is 31 Days to Better Parenting different from Parenting with Purpose?”

My first ebook, Parenting with Purpose, focuses on behavior, from how to prevent meltdowns, to what to do as they happen.

Both stand alone, but also work beautifully together.

“Who is 31 Days to Better Parenting for?”

The book speaks to parents of young children who want to improve the way they raise their kids. They know something is off, but want to make the steps as simple as possible to apply.

No—31 Days to Better Parenting and the the Workbook are digital downloads in a PDF format. This helps keep costs low and allows you to download and access the information instantly.

“Is the workbook included with the ebook?”

Yes, the workbook is included and is designed to supplement what you learn in the ebook.

“I have recently purchased your ebooks and they are fantastic. I really like how honest your writing is and how it doesn’t claim there is one magic solution that works for all children. Instead, you help parents develop the emotional and practical skills they need to navigate the toddler years. Thanks for all your helpful materials and positive approach to parenting—I am learning a lot!”
-HOLLY SMART

“I’m only on day 4, and I already love this book. It’s so practical and refreshing to hear another mother share her experiences and what she’s learned from raising her own children. I’ve already started implementing her suggestions from this book and I’ve noticed a change in my son, fewer meltdowns and tantrums, a much happier toddler, and a less stressed me. I can’t rave about it enough. This book has truly been a blessing to me.”
