Learn about the course I took that increased pageviews for my blog from 30,000 a month to over 170,000 in less than a year.
We’re taking a little detour today and going behind the scenes of this blog. You see, for the longest time, I didn’t know where Sleeping Should Be Easy would end up. All I knew was that I enjoyed writing and learning about parenting. I loved meeting other parents and sharing stories with readers. I even liked the technical parts and marketing side of blogging.
But after five years, I felt stuck.
My traffic was growing from producing regular content and socialize with others. But I kept hearing other bloggers—newer ones than mine—turning their blogs into businesses. They were increasing traffic faster and making decent money, all while still enjoying it. That’s what I wanted.
And financially, I felt strapped for cash. Even our frugal lifestyle could barely cover child care and preschool costs. I just wanted to make an extra $100-$200 a month from my blog for extra pocket money.
How I increased pageviews
So April of 2015, I enrolled in Elite Blog Academy.
It wasn’t an easy choice, to be honest. At $399, the cost of the course was pretty much all I had made from blogging all those years. It took years to make those bucks and I didn’t want to spend it all at once on one course.
And the ever tight-with-money person I am, I argued I could get all that information free online. Aren’t there tons of blog posts about increasing traffic and making money? Yes and no. Yes, which is pretty much what I did all these years. And no, I learned a ton of new information in EBA that I hadn’t seen online.
Plus I kept hearing about other people’s success with it. That, with the money back guarantee, pretty much summed it up for me. So when EBA opened its doors to new sign ups in April, I took the plunge.
Since then, I’ve made the money back and then some. I’ve also increased my traffic. The 30 days before EBA, my monthly pageviews were at 33,112. Now, my increased pageviews are at 173,182:
Here’s another graph comparing my current page views with the same number of days prior to taking EBA:
I know some of you are bloggers. So I’m excited to announce that Elite Blog Academy is opening its doors once again from February 22-26!
When you sign up, you get lifetime access to the full course, just as I do. The course has 12 self-paced units and extra resources like live Q&As, videos, printables and a member forum.
Just letting you know that if you sign up for EBA through my links, I get a commission at no extra charge to you. But as you can see, I got so much out of EBA and stand behind it 100%.
EBA is not for the faint of heart. You don’t get a magic code or plugin that will increase your traffic. I’ve put in more hours into this blog these last several months than I ever have. But it’s working and the numbers are proving it.
Check out their website and sign up for their waiting list. If you think it’s a right fit, you have from February 22-26 to get in before they close the doors again.
