Giving my kiddo a bath can sometimes feel like wrestling. Or cajoling. Or trying to keep my sanity while convincing my then-toddler that water will not do anything bad to him. Never mind that he had been fine—excited, even—about bath time all this time. Suddenly, he won’t even go near the bathroom. I needed to find children’s books about bath time to help him.
Because what do you when your toddler feels scared of the bath? I have a few tips on that. One of them was to get bath books he can take with him to the tub. Something to keep him occupied or distracted while I suds him up.
Regular, non-waterproof books about baths can also show the experience in a positive way. I’ve long been a fan of reading children’s books for any issue our kiddos are going through. Getting through bath time anxieties is one of them.
